Mango Showoff
Ripe mango, salsa macha, nothing else needed. This is the combo that transports you to a hot afternoon, fruit dripping down your hand, lounging in the park.
Ingredients:
2 ripe mangoes
any flavor of our salsa macha
Instructions
1. Stand the mango upright. Slice down each side about ¼ inch from the center to avoid the pit, removing both cheeks.
2. Score the flesh of each cheek in a crosshatch pattern — don't cut through the skin.
3. Push the skin side up to fan out the cubes, then slice them away from the skin.
4. Cut any remaining flesh from around the pit and peel with a knife.
5. Toss chunks into a bowl and drizzle with salsa macha, and serve.
